Use a resource directory with fromResource(...). pull(file) resolves the language at load time and chooses the output file. Existing output files are retained; selecting a language does not translate an existing file.

Without .language(...), the JVM locale is used. The default fallback is en. For ja_JP, resolution tries ja_JP then ja, followed by fallback-language candidates. Both ja-JP and ja_JP inputs are accepted; hyphens are normalized to underscores.

For YAML, each candidate tries yml then yaml. JSON uses json. If no selected or fallback resource exists, loading fails with the tried paths.

pull("ja", file) combines explicit language selection and output configuration. systemLanguage() resets selection to the JVM locale.

This writes missing config_en.yml and config_ja.yml and loads the selected Japanese file. Resolution includes requested output languages, the selected language, and the fallback language. Missing languages resolve to the fallback resource; duplicate resolved outputs are removed. Suffixes use the resolved resource's language.

Automatic and manual updates apply to the active selected file. The other output files are initially copied if missing, but are not all updated by the active loader.
